About:

Dr. Ashley Daniels grew up in Ankeny, Iowa. After earning her doctorate at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Dr. Daniels continued her education at the University of Florida to become a specialist in pediatric dentistry, where she had the opportunity to serve as Chief Resident. During her residency program, Dr. Daniels received extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry including restorative dentistry, dental trauma, hospital dentistry, sedation, and dentistry for individuals with special health care needs. She has been very active in research and evidence-based dentistry, and recently published an article in the Pediatric Dentistry Journal.

In her spare time, Dr. Ashley and her husband enjoy cooking, hosting board game nights, and spending time with their cat, Cy (go cyclones!). Dr. Daniels is excited for the opportunity to return home to provide excellent dental care to the children of central Iowa.

About:

Dr. Sofia Iribarren grew up in Costa Rica and moved to California at the age of 17. She obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of California San Francisco and completed her Pediatric Dental residency at the University of Iowa while simultaneously receiving an M.S. in Dental Public Health. Dr. I is passionate about helping children improve their overall and oral health and her goal is to cultivate strong relationships that make patients feel safe. She believes every child is unique and requires personalized treatment plans. When not in the dental office Dr. I loves spending time with family, traveling, horseback riding, and dental public health activities at the University of Iowa.
